Birmingham Zoo, located in Birmingham, AL., is a zoological park that opened in 1955 and is the largest zoo in Alabama. The 122-acre zoo is home to almost 800 animals representing over 200 species. The new entrance is the culmination of Phase 2 of the $18.6 million Renew the Zoo Capital Campaign and features a new two-story building, two plazas, an outdoor classroom, rooftop event terraces & bar with a view into the zoo exhibits from the elevated terraces.

Tile Tech 24×24 Porcelain Pavers in Sand-Stone installed on Hex-Tray and adjustable pedestals crown the rooftop amenity terrace deck with luxury, transforming it into usable guest space, perfect for entertaining & event spaces. Custom outdoor furniture all adds to the elegance of the stone deck porcelain pavers. Additionally, the Tile Tech Paver products used to construct the rooftop deck added to the building’s LEED Certification.
